I.CA Secom

The I.CA Secom application permits the creation and verification of electronic signatures for selected files. It also allows for electronic signatures with a timestamp.

The application can be used to electronically sign all types of files, i.e. text files, images in various formats including scanned images, and text or binary files. The application also supports the creation of several electronic signatures in a single file.

The I.CA Secom application creates electronic signatures in CMS format. Electronic signatures in CMS format may be selected as an internal signature (the electronic signature is part of the signed file) or as an external signature (the electronic signature is located on a separate file). The timestamp can be utilized in both cases.

A data message, sent in the Czech Republic via data boxes, may contain several file formats. According to governmental Decree No. 194/2009 Coll., determining the details of use and operation of data box information systems, the following file formats are permitted in a data message: pdf, txt, rtf, doc, ppt, jpg, tiff, gif. Individual files may be electronically signed, and the signature must be in the format p7s or p7m. The I.CA Secom application allows for signatures to all the aforementioned format types, creating the signature in format p7s or p7m as per the application's configuration.

Multiple signature

Another signature may be added to an existing signed document, thus creating a document with multiple signatures.

Long-term electronic signature

A long-term electronic signature is created in accordance with RFC 5126 in CAdES-T format when signing with a CMS electronic signature.

I.CA Secom with PDF support

The expanded version of I.CA Secom with PDF support provides the option of creating signatures in PAdES format for signing *.pdf files. The addition of a timestamp is possible here as well.

For PAdES type signatures, the option of inserting a visible signature is also available, thus enabling the insertion of a visible mark to a PDF file.
