Documents for obtaining a technology certificate

In order to issue technology (commercial server) certificates, the following documents must be presented when visiting the registration authority. For more detailed information on the required documents, please refer to the Certification Policy for Commercial Certificates
- ID card or passport or similar document of equal legal weight
- proof of the existence of the company* (extract from the Commercial Register, trade certificate, certificate from the Czech Statistical Office on registration and assignment of an ID number).
- a document authorising the company to act on its behalf - the executive's letter of appointment, power of attorney - model above
Acting on behalf
If the applicant for a certificate at the I.CA registration authority is represented by an agent, the above documents must be accompanied by:
- ID card or passport of the proxy
- a document proving the right to act as proxy; model above - the signature of the "Proxy" on the power of attorney must be officially certified
- original or certified copy of the ID card or passport of the certificate applicant (proxy); please note that certified copies of personal documents cannot be made in the Czech Republic
- other documents according to the type of certificate, see above
* The document must not be older than six months; in the case of entities registered in the Commercial Register of the Czech Republic or in the Trade Register, it is not necessary to submit this document (the document is available in electronic form on the website of the Ministry of Justice or the Ministry of Industry and Trade and can be obtained directly from the I.CA registration authority).
