Documents for obtaining a qualified certificate for PSD2
A contractual relationship with I.CA is required for the issuance of a certificate. The contract includes:
- Power of attorney for the approver of the application,
- a power of attorney for the periodicity endorser.
The contract can be concluded in the following ways:
- Remotely in paper form - the contract must be accompanied by officially certified signatures of the statutory representatives (according to the VOR). If it is a foreign client, the existence of the company must be documented by an extract from the commercial register (does not have to be officially certified).
- Electronic form - the contract must be signed by the statutory representatives of the company in accordance with the extract from the Commercial Register by an electronic signature based on a qualified certificate. If it is a foreign client, the qualified certificate must be stored on a QSCD. At the same time, an extract from the commercial register must be provided (it does not have to be officially certified).
- Personal visit - conclusion of the contract in the presence of an I.CA employee. The contract shall be signed by the statutory representatives of the company according to the VOR. Statutory representatives shall prove their identity by presenting a primary document - ID card or passport.
If a person other than the statutory representative will be approving the application or confirming the periodicity, they must be present when the contract is signed. They shall prove their identity by presenting:
- primary document - identity card or passport,
- secondary document - driving licence, firearms licence, etc.
These data are included in the annexes of the personal documents - power of attorney for the approver of the application, power of attorney for the confirmer of periodicity.
If it is a foreign client, he/she must provide an extract from the commercial register.
