During the 18th edition of the eGovernment Mikulov conference, První certifikační autorita, a.s. (I.CA) once again took part in this major professional event as its Silver Partner.

One of the key topics of this year’s conference was the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI Wallet) and its impact on both the public and private sectors. As part of the Studio eGovernment broadcast directly from the stage of the castle hall, an expert panel discussion focused on the current state of preparations, the changes ahead, and the challenges associated with implementing the EUDI Wallet.

The discussion brought together Petr Budiš, CEO of I.CA, Petr Kuchař from OHA/DIA, and Pavel Kolář from the Czech Banking Association. The panel offered an open and critical perspective on the European digital identity solution currently being developed. The speakers shared practical insights into what organizations should prepare for, which risks need to be considered, and what opportunities the EUDI Wallet could bring to citizens, public authorities, and businesses alike. This is currently a key priority for I.CA.

We would like to thank the conference organizers and all participants for an inspiring event and engaging discussions. We look forward to the next edition of eGovernment Mikulov and to continuing the conversation about the future of digital trust, this time with concrete results, practical experience, and progress in the field to build on.
