Licensing policy for applications and libraries provided by I.CA

I.CA Secom®2 Application Licensing Policy

Use of the I.CA Secom application is tied to the qualified certificate that will be used within the application. The client is always asked to provide the serial number of the I.CA qualified certificate before purchasing the application.

Based on the certificate number provided, I.CA will create a license file that the client will receive together with the I.CA Secom application.

The license file is created in such a way that it can also be used after the renewal of the qualified certificate whose number the client submitted when purchasing the I.CA Secom application.

AdvICASigner Licensing Policy

The AdvICASigner component is provided in several variants.

The server license is intended for use on server-based solutions. In the case of this license, it is supplied for the URL that the client defines when purchasing the license.

The client license is for use on local machines. This license is issued on the basis of the serial number of the qualified certificate, which is then used to implement the electronic signature.

The client multilicence is granted without limitation as to the qualified certificate used or the place of use.
